My love for vintage jackets has been ongoing, but peaked after finding a true gem— a burgundy leather jacket at the FaIRfax Flea Market in Los Angeles—almost 12 years ago. I felt leveled up. Instant bravado. Vintage became a passion and a pursuit.

Fast forward ten years. After walking away from a failing career in real estate, I knew I was in desperate need of a rebirth. This time around, I was going to pursue a dream. The dream of doing something I loved and had passion for. ThRough this journey I met people that pushed and helped me become the man that I am today.

I started House of BRKT  one lunch break at a time, and after three years, I have my first collection. I believe that clothes have souls just as we do. Every piece has a story to tell. And I believe every piece I make is longing for a new story, a rebirth.

What goes on in the world of fashion is neither sustainable environmentally nor does it allow for custom or bespoke pieces that tell real stories, that express individuality, that are timeless and ageless.

House of Brkt materials, trims and linings have all been upcycled to create something new, different, and unique. My art is to bring together elements to give them a new life.
